A. Clarke Video Sewer was started in 2009 to provide an affordable service for home buyers. The closing cost and down payment associated with a real estate transaction can be very costly. Buyers are in need of all the help they can get. There are other companies out there and the cost can run upward to $300.00 for this type of service. Being a full time real estate agent I saw the need for my clients to have this inspection done at an affordable price.

Attention: First Time Home Buyers

Very few first time home buyers ask for a sewer inspection before buying a home. Sewer inspections are not something most buyers think about. They know to get a home inspection, but sewer lines are almost an after thought, if it crosses a buyer's mind at all. Yet it's one of the most important inspections a buyer of older homes should conduct.
The time to find out if a sewer is faulty or needs replacement is before buying a home, not after the fact. I recommend a sewer inspection if the home is older than 20 years. Although the sewer line may be fairly new as compared to homes built before 1950, for example, tree roots can still clog up a sewer line in a home younger then 20-year-old.

The above pictures illustrate some of the problems homeowner face when a basements floods. There are natural disasters from flood waters after long rains and there are preventable disasters caused by bad plumbing. It is alway good to know about the problem In Advance. It can save you time, money and stress.
